There's nothing like a good event to get your creative juices flowing again, is there?
On a quiet Thursday night, I was invited to try some of the new Virtuous menu from Be At One. Having only been open for around six months, and being the middle of the week, I hadn't really prepared myself for how busy the bar was going to be. I guess the word really gets around about a great cocktail! The bar is nestled away on Seel Street, and you can't really miss the neon red sign and red brick front.

I met with Danielle, and a few other bloggers, and we were greeted with a glass of bubbly before getting started with our Detox Masterclass. There's nothing like the first class treatment!
The Virtuous Cocktails are designed to include unrefined sugars, whilst still remaining as delicious as that naughty Sex on the Beach. It's still quite early in the year, and I imagine a lot of people are still on top of their New Year's Resolutions but that's no reason to not treat yo' self! You can sneak in at least three of your five a day during your work night out. Even if it ends up with you and your shoes off in Nabzy's, knee-deep in fried chicken, at least you know you got some coconut water and passionfruit down you before.

We were treated to a full cocktail masterclass, giving us a chance to make (and drink) our own handiwork. As always, I'm keen to get my lips around a cocktail so I'm first up. I'd had a little look at the menu a few hours earlier, so I'd already picked out the Almond Mocha. I can't have a lot of dairy (read: shouldn't, but do anyway) and I love milky cocktails, so this sounded right up my alley.

So as it turns out, experimenting with the modes on my camera during a dark blogger event wasn't the best idea and most of my photos of the actual masterclass came out terribly! So here, have a cute picture of me and Danielle.
I had an absolute ball at the Detox Masterclass, so thank you very much for having me Be At One! If you fancy a quiet Sunday drink, or even a masterclass like us, they have you covered!

I can't believe I have never been here! I need me some more cocktails in my life! Looks like you had a ball!
